A standard machine brews every 180 seconds after collection; a large machine brews every 300 seconds. The run usually decides it by the shop row, treatment shelf, diagnosis screen, or the item already in hand. Each sip restores 5 sanity, and a cup gives 3 sips for 15 total sanity. Coffee can also be given to certain NPCs or Head Banger. The mistake that hurts the run is simple: Collecting coffee too early locks ownership and delays the next brew until it is picked up, so teams can decide who needs it. If the current server shows a different timer, shop text, room state, or animation, the live screen wins.
